Paduka Seri Begawan Sultan Science College (MSPSBS) welcomed the fresh batch of Year 7 students to the portals of its 2022 academic year yesterday. The orientation took place from January 24-26.

As of January 24, 311 students had registered with the majority having completed their COVID-19 vaccination doses. Those who have yet to complete their vaccine doses will be learning remotely.

Following the school’s protocol, all students underwent the antigen rapid test (ART) upon arrival at the college.

Welcoming the new batch at the school’s auditorium, Principal Dayangku Hajah Norhasima binti Pengiran Haji Hassan reminded the students to always adhere to the college’s vision and mission, and she said the school always supports them to achieve their highest potential in academic and holistic development as future citizens of the country.

The students recited the school oath, vowing to uphold the college ideals and values. They were briefed on guidelines pertaining to academics, co-curricular activities, discipline and other matters by heads of sections.

The following two days of orientation saw the students engaged in sessions with the Counselling Department and creative activities with the Academics Department. The students were issued textbooks, toured the college and acquainted with their form teachers.
