Over 1,000 participants, including students, teachers, parents, and community members, gathered to participate in Jigsaw Primary School’s Fun Run event at Taman Sultan Omar Ali Saifuddien (SOAS) on Sunday.
Held during Bandarku Ceria on 10th November 2024, the event brought together people of all ages for a day dedicated to fitness, fundraising, and community support.
The event was graced by the guest of honour the Senior Trustee of Pusat Ehsan Dato Paduka Mohd Alimin bin Hj Abd Wahab, with representatives from Pusat Ehsan as well as the school’s CEO and Principal Ms. Helen Chin.
The Fun Run aimed to support the school’s End of Year Production and Extra-Curricular Activity (ECA) clubs, as well as make a meaningful contribution to Pusat Ehsan. With 20 per cent of the total funds raised set aside for donation, the school contributed BND7,000 to Pusat Ehsan, supporting their vital work for individuals with special needs in Brunei.
The event also saw the launch of Jigsaw Primary School’s official ECA uniform.
Twelve prizes were awarded to the most dedicated fundraisers, all of whom were students of Jigsaw Primary School. – JAMES KON
