    School sees improvement in PSR, says headmistress

    Raja Isteri Fatimah (RIF) Primary School achieved 77.14 per cent passes in Primary School Assessment (PSR), a 6.17-per-cent increase from last year with three students scoring 5 A’s and seven students with four A’s and 1 B.

    This was said by headmistress Josephine Tan Yen Nee in her welcoming remarks during a ceremony at Raja Isteri Girls High School yesterday.

    Tan believed the success of the students was due to the collective efforts of teachers and parents.

    She extended her gratitude to the parents’ for their cooperation and support.

    Student representative Mohammad Darwisy Asyrani bin Edrous delivered a speech, followed by the recitation of Surah Ibrahim by Year 6 students.

    The ceremony saw the graduation of 14 pre-schoolers and 35 Year 6 students and the presentation of certificates and prizes to outstanding students.

    School prefects also received certificates of appreciation from teacher Pengiran Zainuddin bin Pengiran Haji Ghani for their contribution to the school. – Lyna Mohamad
