Alif School in Kuala Belait commemorated Maulidur Rasul and Teacher’s Day in a two-in-one celebration at the Kampong Pandan Community Hall recently.
The event began with the arrival of students and teachers followed by the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah. The chairperson of the school’s Parents and Teachers Association Nursyukriah binti Haji Omarali welcomed attendees, including parents and guardians.
The school’s headmistress Aziemah binti Samat emphasised the crucial role of teachers in students’ growth and development, highlighting the importance of such celebrations in recognising and appreciating their efforts.
Students participated in a Maulidur Rasul procession around the venue, followed by a five-minute Selawat. A short video showcasing students’ appreciation for their teachers was then presented, followed by a singing performance.
