Some 87 students of Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha (RIPAS) Secondary School participated in the school’s annual Khatam Al-Quran for its ‘O’ level and IGCSE students recently.
The event is part of the Year 11 and 10XP’s graduation.
The school’s Islamic Religious Department led by Assistant Head of Departments Hajah Siti Azalina binti Haji Othman organised the event. The event also saw the conversion to Islam of Year 11 student Muhammad Waqir bin Safri.
School principal Hajah Adimah binti Haji Mohd Said presented a souvenir to the school’s Parent-Teacher Association Deputy Chairman Sofian bin Mohd Jaiz, the guest of honour.
The event concluded with the recitation of doa selamat.
