Muda Hashim Secondary School (SMMH) organised a Golden Jubilee Grand Carnival at its premises in the Tutong District on Sunday.
The event marked the official closing of a series of mini events organised by the school since 2021. Acting Tutong District Officer Mohammad Sofian bin Haji Basri was the guest of honour.
The ceremony began with the guest of honour’s arrival at the Jubilee Hall, where several vendors and a mini exhibition depicting the school’s history in the 1970s were displayed.
School’s Acting Principal Hajah Adimah binti Haji Mohd Said spoke on the school’s efforts and initiatives in assembling the celebration for it’s 50-year journey.
The highlight of the ceremony was the launch of the renaming of four rooms at the school by the guest of honour along with guests HOC Cluster 5 Abdul Wafi Sia bin Abdullah Sia, Education Officer of Educators Management Department Haji Mohammad Saiful Bahrin bin Haji Sabli and Shahrul Azlan bin Haji Mohd Zain as the SMMH PIBG chairperson.
