Fairview School organised a sports day last Saturday at Kebajikan Field in Berakas.
Fairview School’s managing director Dato Seri Laila Jasa Haji Ahmad bin Dato Paduka Matnor and administration head Datin Paduka Hajah Fatimah binti Dato Paduka Haji Mohd Husain were the guests of honour.
The activities featured at the sports day were an obstacle course, relay race, a sack jump, and 50- and 100-metre runs, participated by kindergarteners, elementary students and their parents.
Dato Seri Laila Jasa Haji Ahmad, the school’s parents and teachers association’s vice-president Muhammad Khairul Shahrul bin Haji Duahim and former chairman Haji Wardi bin Haji Mohd Hasan presented prizes to the winners. Eagle House was named the overall champion.
The four houses competing in the top spot were Tiger House, Dolphin House, Eagle House, and Bee House.
The event aimed to give students the opportunity to develop sportsmanship as well as be proficient in extracurricular activities.
