The Seria Energy Lab (SEL) concluded its school holiday programme ‘Full STEAM Ahead (FSA)’ on a high note recently.
The programme, from August 31 to September 3, was carried out alongside the very first Seriaku Ceria event at the Seria Energy Recreational Park (SERP).
One of the main highlights was an aquashow; an interactive session where visitors explored the AquaLab and discovered the different types of corals and aquatic life. The visitors also got to see and touch some of the marine animals at the Touch Pond.
The programme also saw collaborations with partners including Rumine Corporation, Brunei Game Developers Community and Priotechno Academy from Brunei Innovation Lab.
Talks, activities and interactive sessions were also held by Universiti Brunei Darussalam (UBD), where they showcased different species of insects found in the Sultanate, mental health awareness and campaigns by the Health Promotion Centre, women’s health talk by Bleed Safely and a talk by Reef Check Brunei who shared the importance of ocean reef conservation.
One visitor said, “My kids really loved it here. They enjoyed interacting with the exhibits and participating in the activities and shows.
“They got to learn and enjoy at the same time.”
