Year 10 student Ainul Hayati binti Ratna won the upper secondary category of a recent Puteri Muslimah competition while Nur Nasibah Adhwa @ Hanna binti Azman from Year 8 won the lower secondary category. Meanwhile, the best muslimah dress category was won by Alya Fathiyyah binti Haji Abdul Rajid.
Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Hajah Saleha Girls Arabic Religious Secondary School (SUAMPRIPAHS) 2023 organised the contest for its students. Acting principal Dayangku Aidi Noorintan binti Pengiran Haji Mohd Zinin presented the prizes. The acting principal said the competition aimed to polish abilities and build confidence in the students.
The students were given four challenges to win the ‘Puteri Muslimah’ title, including memorising Surah-Surah Lazim, discussing current issues, displaying Muslim fashion and showcasing talents, such as tarannum, religious lectures, qasidah, singing and painting. – Rokiah Mahmud
