Some 176 Year 6 students from Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah (YSHHB) Primary School participated in Sunnat Hajat prayers, a Surah Yaasiin recitation and a motivational talk at the school hall yesterday.
The event aimed to prepare the students for their upcoming Primary School Assessment (PSR) examinations.
Present at the event was the principal Hajah Mariam binti Haji Ladi, who offered advice to the students in her speech.
The motivational talk meanwhile was delivered by religious officer at the Islamic Da’wah Centre Mohammad Nasyith bin Superi.
The talk aimed to provide spiritual support and emphasise the importance of the exams.
It also encouraged students to set goals and strive for excellence in their studies and other areas of interest.
The role of parents was also highlighted as crucial in motivating children to excel in their studies. – Rokiah Mahmud
