DES School recently held a Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebration where students enjoyed food packs provided by the school community.
The school also organised a handover of cash donations to 17 orphans contributed by the parents, guardians and staff.
The event was aimed at helping students to understand the act of giving, according to Islam and the Malay culture, and to foster stronger ties within the school community.
Principal Rafizah binti Abdul Rahman expressed her appreciation to all students, teachers and parents for the event’s success.
