Berakas Secondary School held the Ilal Hijrah 1446 celebration at the school’s Anggerek Hall on Thursday.
The event, organised by the Department of Humanities, aimed to increase understanding and appreciation of migration towards a more rewarding life.
The event saw a talk on ‘Hijrah, Erti Pengorbanan’ by Islamic Da’wah Centre Religious Officer Siti Juhaidah binti Haji Bujang.
Deputy Principal of Administration Rosman bin Haji Kasah, the guest of honour, presented prizes to students.
