DES School celebrated its 30th anniversary with a walkathon at Taman Mahkota Jubli Emas recently.
Around 500 students, parents and teachers walked along the scenic eco-corridor in Bandar Seri Begawan to commemorate the occasion.
Prior to setting off, participants sang the national anthem and the school song. The school choir also sang a special 30th anniversary song.
School principal Hajah Aliya Ameera binti Haji Bahrein expressed gratitude to all participants for their enthusiastic involvement, emphasising the event’s role in promoting unity and community spirit at DES School.
The walkathon celebrated DES School’s history as well as showcased its commitment to fostering a close-knit school community with a day of joy and camaraderie.
