Jerudong International School (JIS) held its Middle Years Celebration of Achievement ceremony at the JIS Arts Centre recently.
During the ceremony, students who showcased academic accomplishments, leadership qualities and active participation throughout the year were honoured with awards, which included Excellent Academic Achievement, Excellent Academic Improvement, Accelerated Reader Award, Polio Points Award, Citizenship Award and Student Council Recognition Award.
Awards were presented by JIS Principal Nicholas Sheehan, Head of Senior School Dr Daniel Milner, Assistant Head of Senior School Jennifer Cole, Pastoral Director Lynsay Scott and Head of Libraries Karli Downey.
There was also a Sports and Creative Arts showcase, highlighting students work over the year.
The principal commented, “These students have consistently displayed exemplary leadership skills and an unwavering spirit of engagement.
“They have taken on various roles and responsibilities within the school community, fostering a positive and inclusive environment for all.”
