The Government of China is offering scholarships for Bruneian students to pursue their studies in China for the 2024/2025 academic year.
Eligible applicants can visit the China Scholarship Council (CSC) Study in China website and click ‘Scholarship Application for Students’ at http://www.campuschina.org to apply for the scholarship.
For further details, those interested can find the attachments at the Chinese Government Scholarship Application and Instructions for Chinese Government Scholarship Information System (CGSIS).
The deadline of applications is on February 2, 2024. Overdue applications will not be accepted.
All applications must be completed online.
The Embassy of China in Brunei Darussalam will not accept any paper applications.
The online application serial number must emailed to chinaembassyedu@gmail.com.
Applicants must receive a reply email from the embassy to proceed.
Applicants must contact potential universities themselves for pre-admission documents or invitation letters before February 2.
Around June 2024, the CSC will confirm the admittance and send admission letters to the Chinese Embassy.
Scholarship recipients will be notified to collect the admission letters and the visa application forms at the embassy and before continuing to study in China. – James Kon
