    Scholarship open for further studies in South Korea

    The South Korean government is offering scholarships to Bruneian nationals interested in furthering their studies in Korea.

    The Global Korea Scholarship (GKS) programme for graduate degrees is aimed at providing higher education in South Korea for international students to promote international exchange in education as well as friendship among participating countries.

    One applicant from Brunei will be selected to undertake a degree or associate degree programme in South Korea.

    Applicants must choose their desired fields of study from the listed programmes in the university information section provided by participating universities and should meet the full requirements of the scholarship.

    Documents such as proof of citizenship, certificate of graduation, academic transcript, proof of age (if other than IC and passport) must be apostilled by Supreme Court before submission and completed application forms must be submitted to the Korean Embassy in Brunei Darussalam by October 10, 2023 by hand only.

    A total of 86 students worldwide, including one successful Bruneian candidate will have the opportunity to study in Korea under the GKS Programme.
