The Women Graduates Association (PSW) organised a ‘Santunan Kasih’ religious programme at Kampong Sibut Religious Hall in the Temburong District on Friday.
The programme, a collaboration with former village head and current village head as well as Hajah Donnaliza binti Abdullah Puasa’s family, served to forge solidarity in the community, in the month of Ramadhan.
The event began with the recitation of Surah Yaasiin and Tahlil, followed by breaking of fast and a mass Maghrib prayer.
PSW hoped that the programme had enlivened Ramadhan and strengthened ties among the attendees. Some 100 congregrants, including 30 underprivileged families, also participated in the event. – Lyna Mohamad
