Baiduri Bank announced the conclusion of its ‘Baiduri Santai Sahur’, held every Saturday night throughout Ramadhan, at the bank’s headquarters’ multi-storey car park and Baiduri South Lawn.
In collaboration with Saucysside and the Gang, the event hosted 25 food and beverage vendors, providing micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) with a platform to showcase their products.
Aside from embracing cashless transaction, the event also supported environmental sustainability where vendors were encouraged to utilise eco-friendly packaging.
Through strategic partnerships with Kawan Bumi and Shaliz Waste Recycling Sdn Bhd, approximately 100 kilogrammes (kg) of paper, 40kg of plastic, 30kg of aluminium, and two gallons of used cooking oil were collected.
Some 25 customers also received BND10 lucky draw vouchers for utilising cashless payment methods – Baiduri cards, debit cards and QPay.
On the event’s success, Baiduri Bank Head of Business Banking Mohd Isa Liew Mohd Amin Liew said, “The response to Baiduri Santai Sahur demonstrates the strength of community engagement and the potential of sustainable, digitally enabled business practices. As we conclude this series, we are reminded of our commitment to the Bruneian business community, reinforcing our dedication to fostering a resilient and innovative business ecosystem.”
