UPI – A Florida drive-through safari park has joyfully welcomed its 40th rhinoceros calf. The Lion Country Safari, located in Loxahatchee, proudly announced the birth of Alissa, a southern white rhino, born on August 19 to her mother, Anna.
In a Facebook post, they highlighted the significance of Alissa’s arrival, emphasising its substantial contribution to the ongoing preservation and conservation efforts dedicated to southern white rhinos.
Alissa and Anna are currently visible from the road in a maternity area of the safari’s Hwange section.
