Yang Teramat Mulia Pengiran Anak Muneerah Madhul Bolkiah binti Duli Yang Teramat Mulia Paduka Seri Pengiran Muda Mahkota Pengiran Muda Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah took part in a football training session under the United States (US) Sports Envoy Programme workshop yesterday.
The workshop, held at the Football Association of Brunei Darussalam’s football field, was participated by 30 female footballers.
The session was facilitated by American football players Amy Allman Griffin and Lorrie Fair Allen, FIFA World Cup Champions in 1991 and 1999 who are the visiting US State Department Sports Envoy.
The programme aimed at promoting equality, inclusiveness and youth empowerment through sports.
As part of the programme, a public lecture on ‘Finding Success As a Professional Athlete’ will be held tonight at Mulia Hotel Brunei. Members of the public are welcome to attend.
