His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah ibni His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah, the Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office; and Her Royal Highness Paduka Seri Pengiran Anak Isteri Pengiran Anak Sarah binti Pengiran Haji Salleh Ab Rahaman attended the Brunei Super League (BSL) 2024/2025 match between DPMM FC and Panchor Murai FC at the Jerudong Park Mini Stadium in Jerudong last night.
Yang Teramat Mulia Pengiran Muda `Abdul Muntaqim featured in the match as team captain of DPMM FC.
Yang Teramat Mulia Pengiran Anak Muneerah Madhul Bolkiah; Yang Teramat Mulia Pengiran Muda Muhammad Aiman; and Yang Teramat Mulia Pengiran Anak Faathimah Az-Zahraa’ Raihaanul Bolkiah were also present.
During the match, Yang Teramat Mulia Pengiran Muda `Abdul Muntaqim led the DPMM FC team to an emphatic 8-0 win against Panchor Murai FC.
The team captain played a key role in the match which ensured a 10th successive win on the trot in the league championship.
The Jerudong-based side are chasing a first Super League crown after a second senior team was established to compete in the domestic scene.
The result put the title-chasing DPMM FC in pole position ahead of reigning holders Kasuka FC. The free-scoring side put on another rout having already orchestrated the demolition of Lun Bawang and Wijaya FC with 12-1 and 7-0 wins.
