Her Royal Highness Princess Hajah Hafizah Sururul Bolkiah yesterday attended a Hari Raya celebration with differently-abled individuals at Rizqun International Hotel, accompanied by Yang Amat Mulia Pengiran Anak Haji Muhammad Ruzaini bin Pengiran Dr Haji Mohd Yakub.
Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports Major General (Rtd) Dato Paduka Seri Haji Aminuddin Ihsan bin Pehin Orang Kaya Saiful Mulok Dato Seri Paduka Haji Abidin also attended the celebration.
Upon arrival, Her Royal Highness was greeted by co-chairpersons Lailatul Zubaidah Hussain and Norjinah Mahmud.
Sixty-five families attended the celebration jointly hosted by the Impian Project and Zahara Charity Foundation, with support from the Australian High Commission in Brunei Darussalam, Bangladeshi High Commission in Brunei Darussalam and British High Commission in Brunei Darussalam as well as Progresif Sdn Bhd, Juta Jaya Sdn Bhd, Hitune, LZ Hussain & Co and Cityneon Sdn Bhd.
In view of the COVID-19 climate in the Sultanate, the co-organisers ensured strict adherence to standard operating procedures which included body temperature checks, scanning of BruHealth QR code and social distancing.
