His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah ibni His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah, the Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office on Saturday night graced the Singapore Premier League (SPL) 2024/2025 match between DPMM FC and Albirex Niigata (S) at the Hassanal Bolkiah National Stadium in Berakas.
Yang Teramat Mulia Pengiran Anak Muneerah Madhul Bolkiah, Yang Teramat Mulia Pengiran Muda Muhammad Aiman and Yang Teramat Mulia Pengiran Anak Faathimah Az-Zahraa’ Raihaanul Bolkiah were present.
Upon arrival, His Royal Highness was greeted by the Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Nazmi bin Haji Mohamad.
The Gegar Gegar men put on an excellent attacking display as they cruised to a 3-0 win courtesy of a Davis Ikaunieks double and Hakeme Yazid Said.
The result leave the Brunei-based outfit just a point shy off sixth-placed Hougang United in their quest for a strong finish in the second half of the season. After ending their barren run at the start of the year, DPMM FC will now look to climb as high as possible in the table.
