His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, yesterday attended the conferment ceremony of the Darjah Sultan Ibrahim Johor Yang Amat Disanjungi Pangkat Pertama Dato’ Sri Mulia Sultan Ibrahim Johor (SMIJ) and the Darjah Kerabat Johor Yang Amat Dihormati Pangkat Pertama (DK I), which was conferred by His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim ibni Almarhum Sultan Iskandar, Sultan Yang Dipertuan of Johor Darul Ta’zim.
During the ceremony, His Majesty the Sultan Yang Dipertuan of Johor Darul Ta’zim conferred the Darjah Sultan Ibrahim Johor Yang Amat Disanjungi Pangkat Pertama Dato’ Sri Mulia Sultan Ibrahim Johor (SMIJ) to His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam.
In the same ceremony, His Majesty the Sultan Yang Dipertuan of Johor Darul Ta’zim also conferred the Darjah Kerabat Johor Yang Amat Dihormati Pangkat Pertama (DK I) to His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah, the Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office.
Also present at the ceremony were His Royal Highness Prince ‘Abdul Malik; and Yang Amat Mulia Tunku Idris Iskandar Al-Haj ibni Sultan Ibrahim, the Tunku Temenggong of Johor.
The ceremony began with the recitation of Doa by Mufti of Johor Sahibus Samahah Dato’ Haji Yahya bin Ahmad.
Meanwhile, a Doa Penutup was recited by State Mufti Pehin Datu Seri Maharaja Dato Paduka Seri Setia (Dr) Ustaz Haji Awang Abdul Aziz bin Juned.
The ceremony was held at the Cheradi Laila Kenchana, Istana Nurul Iman.
