Yang Amat Mulia Pengiran Anak Raihaanah Hanaa-Ul Bolqiah binti Pengiran Anak Khairul Khalil, granddaughter of His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam was among 75 students from Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Religious School who were celebrated at the Certificate Presentation Ceremony of the Primary Six Religious Schools (SSSRU) Examination for 2023 at An-Naura Hall, Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Complex yesterday.
In addition to the SSSRU recognition, 46 students from Years 4, 5 and 6 were awarded for their outstanding performance in the 2024 end-of-year examinations.
Permanent Secretary (Planning, Land Use and Environment) at the Ministry of Development and Acting Managing Director of Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Dr Nor Imtihan binti Haji Abdul Razak, the guest of honour, presented the certificates and awards to recipients.
The ceremony commenced with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah and a Doa, followed by a Tausyeh performance.
Headmaster Azmerul bin Haji Haris, who chaired the event, delivered a welcoming speech. The event aimed to celebrate the students’ achievements in the SSSRU exams and inspire them to pursue further academic success. – Fadley Faisal
