Royal excursion at Taman Mahkota Jubli Emas

His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam attended a morning excursion with Singaporean President Tharman Shanmugaratnam at Taman Mahkota Jubli Emas in the capital yesterday.

His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah, the Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office; His Royal Highness Prince ‘Abdul Malik; and His Royal Highness Prince ‘Abdul Mateen were present. Members of the delegation from the Sultanate and Singapore were also in attendance.

Prior to this, His Majesty welcomed the arrival of the Singaporean President. Both leaders then began the morning excursion with a walk around the park, followed by the signing of a plaque and planting of ‘Ficus Burgundy’ saplings to commemorate the state visit of the Singaporean President to the country.

His Majesty and the Singaporean President proceeded to Tarindak d’Seni for breakfast.
