Prince Azim: Son Of The Arts – a documentary produced by His Royal Highness Prince ‘Abdul Mateen, Her Royal Highness Princess ‘Azemah Ni’matul Bolkiah and Her Royal Highness Princess Fadzilah Lubabul Bolkiah – is now available on Progresif Media.
This was announced by Progresif Sdn Bhd yesterday.
The documentary explores Al-Marhum His Royal Highness Prince Haji ‘Abdul ‘Azim’s life and legacy through interviews with his friends, family and colleagues as well as footage of his philanthropic and artistic endeavours. The film also highlights the impact of his contributions to the arts and creative industries in Brunei and beyond.
Progresif pledged to continue support the creative industry through its platforms such as Progresif Media and other collaborative projects in honour of Al-Marhum His Royal Highness Prince Haji ‘Abdul ‘Azim’s passion for the arts and creative industries.
Progresif Media is a streaming platform in Brunei featuring Bruneian films, series, and shorts produced by local filmmakers.
According to a statement, every Progresif Media subscription will contribute to grow the creative industry and empower the next generation of filmmakers and creators. This support will go towards funding initiatives aimed at strengthening and promoting Bruneian arts and culture as well as providing resources for youth-related initiatives. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to Pusat Ehsan Al-Ameerah Al-Hajjah Maryam, Centre for Children with Special Needs (KACA), Society for the Management of Autism Related issues in Training, Education and Resources (SMARTER) Brunei and Children’s Cancer Foundation (YASKA).
Progresif’s goal is to encourage the growth and development of creative talents, fostering a community that supports and nurtures their creative pursuits by offering training, mentorship and exposure for young content creators.
