His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam consented to send a congratulatory message to Dato’ Seri Anwar lbrahim on his appointment as the 10th Prime Minister of Malaysia.
His Majesty expressed confidence that under Dato’ Seri Anwar lbrahim’s leadership and integrity, Malaysia will always enjoy continuous development for the prosperity of its people.
Furthermore, His Majesty looks forward to the opportunity to work closely together with Dato’ Seri Anwar lbrahim in further strengthening the existing close relations as well as to further enhance cooperation in various fields of mutual interest for the benefit of both countries and its people.
In ending the message, His Majesty prayed that Allah the Almighty would bless Dato’ Seri Anwar lbrahim, Dato’ Seri Dr Wan Azizah binti Dr Wan Ismail as well as his family with continuous good health and happiness, and that the Malaysian people continue to enjoy long-lasting unity, stability and prosperity.
