The Commissioner of Police Team (PJP) emerged winners of the Royal Brunei Police Force Inter Branch for Officers Football Championship after defeating Cawangan ‘A’ 5-3 in the final on Saturday.
The newly-crowned winners also won the League Championship. The PJP bagged the Commissioner of Police Trophy followed by Cawangan ‘A’ as runners-up and Cawangan ‘B’ in third place.
Meanwhile, Inspector Norfaez bin Sayang was awarded the best player, Inspector Nyaring anak Jaya the best goalkeeper and DSP Mohd ‘Izzuddin Hanis bin Haji Mohd Salleh the top scorer
Commissioner of Police Dato Paduka Seri Haji Mohammad Irwan bin Haji Hambali, the guest of honour, presented prizes to the winners. – Fadhil Yunus
