Brunei Darussalam is expected to see a surge of tourist arrivals especially from China with the resumption of Royal Brunei Airlines direct flight to Beijing on Saturday.
Marking the gradual revival of local tourism industry in post COVID-19 pandemic, 110 Chinese tourists arrived in Brunei Darussalam on the first flight.
Welcoming the arrival of the Chinese tourists at the Brunei International Airport were Permanent Secretary of Primary Resources and Tourism Hajah Tutiaty binti Haji Abdul Wahab, Chinese Ambassador designate to Brunei Darussalam Xiao Jianguo and Chief Executive Officer of Royal Brunei Airlines Captain Sabirin bin Haji Abdul Hamid.
