His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah ibni His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah, the Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office, received in audience Vice President and Secretary of Education of the Philippines Sara Zimmerman Duterte, who is also President of Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organisation (SEAMEO) Council yesterday.
During the audience at Qashr Al-Meezaan, His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah and the Philippines Vice President discussed bilateral relations between Brunei Darussalam and the Philippines. Accompanying the Philippines Vice President during the audience was Ambassador of the Philippines to Brunei Darussalam Marian Jocelyn R Tirol-Ignacio. Duterte and her delegation are in the Sultanate for a working visit to the Ministry of Education to strengthen cooperation and bilateral relations in the field of education.
The Philippines Vice President visited to two educational institutions as well as the SEAMEO Voctech Regional Centre.
