A one-day event discussing the role of artificial intelligence (AI) and geographic information system (GIS) technology was held at the Brunei Innovation Lab in Kampong Anggerek Desa yesterday.
The programme, part of the Brunei Mid-Year Conference and Exhibition (MYCE) 2024, was organised by Network Integrity Assurance Technologies Sdn Bhd (NIAT).
The ‘Transformative Solutions with GIS and AI’ programme sought to offer insightful information of how GIS and AI can be leveraged to address contemporary challenges, enhance operational workflow and drive innovation for professionals across various sectors and academic institutions.
Three sub-programmes were carried out during the event: ‘Exploring Brunei: A GIS Journey Through Tourism’, ‘Mapping Tomorrow: Exploring Geospatial Innovation’, and ‘Safety Made Easy with AI’.
