The Public Works Department (JKR) at the Ministry of Development announced the temporary closure of part of Jalan Sekolah from 8am to 10pm today.
The partial road closure on the slow lane near the traffic lights heading to Bandar Seri Begawan, will allow for repair works on an underground sewerage pipe measuring 600 millimetres in diametre and two metres deep. The road will be re-opened as soon as the works reach completion.
Road users are advised to be extra cautious when driving in the area and urged to follow the speed limit.
