Upgrading works on the new telecommunication system from ‘private automatic branch exchange (PABX)’ to ‘Internet protocol private branch exchange (IP-PBX)’ will be carried out on the main telephone lines of Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha (RIPAS) Hospital (2242424) from February 1, 10pm.
It is expected to be completed on February 5, the Ministry of Health announced yesterday.
The upgrade is part of the efforts to improve the quality of communication services and operational efficiency of the hospital, the ministry said.
The public is advised to use the alternative phone line of 224 0000 to contact RIPAS Hospital during the upgrading period. – James Kon
