Right box leads to brand new car

Private Syariah lawyer Siti Nurqashmi binti Haji Jamin yesterday won herself a brand new Kia Sportage EX as the grand prize after picking the right box in the grand draw of ‘Celebrating Raya with Kia’ promotion campaign.

The 29-year-old who bought a Kia Sportage LX during the promotion campaign was in disbelief when she won.

”It was unexpected. I am really excited and overjoyed. I am not sure what I will do with another new Kia Sportage. Maybe I will use it or maybe I will sell it. I am still thinking about it,” she said.

On how she chose the winning box, she said, “I was eyeing the third box from the start. I felt that I should pick that box. I was surprised to have won.”

The second prize of an iPhone 14 Pro Max 128GB went to Rabiatul Izzati binti Md Hamzan while third place winner Toh Tieng Sing received an iPad Pro M2 12.9” 128GB.

The March 1 to May 31 promotion offered Kia customers a chance to win a range of Apple products and cash prizes. Over 900 customers were eligible for the grand draw.

The shortlisting process was conducted on June 16, with 20 customers selected as finalists for the grand draw. Directors of Grand Motors and representatives from the finance institution, BIBD At-Tamwil Berhad Managing Director Haji Mohd Said bin Haji Zania, and Baiduri Finance Berhad Head of Sales Division Haji Muhammad Ali bin Haji Metusin.

Representatives from the Kia Asia Pacific Headquarters Vice President Dato’ Samson Anand George and Senior Sales Manager Shee Chee Siong were also present during the event.
