Every time I drive along the main road in Beribi, I’m always on the lookout for drivers reversing from the side curbs.
This spot is particularly hazardous, especially during peak hours, as it’s also the main junction for entry into the Beribi Industrial Area.
It often feels like an accident waiting to happen, with some cars speeding well above the designated limit.
I appreciate the drivers who reverse cautiously, but unfortunately, others simply shift into reverse, expecting passing cars to slow down or yield.
Installing speed bumps could encourage drivers to slow down, and creating a designated parking area might help prevent fender benders and improve safety overall.
