Successful applicants for the closed tender of vehicle registration for the BBB series were announced on the Land Transport Department (JPD) official website at http://www.jpd.gov.bn on Saturday.
The public is advised to visit JPD’s website to find out the result of their tenders.
JPD advised successful tenderers to present their identification document and pay the full amount as tendered while the vehicle registration numbers are required to be logged under their own name within a month from the date of issuance of the award letter.
The application for the extension of vehicle registration period can be submitted after payment of the full tendered amount and submitted within a month from the date of issuance of the award letter with a fee for the extension of vehicle’s registration period (holding fee) of BND60 for three years.
The registered vehicle registration number may be transferred to another party at a service fee of BND5.
Tenderers failing to pay the full amount as tendered for the vehicle registration number will be revoked and blacklisted from participating in a closed tender of the vehicle registration number for one year and the vehicle registration number retendered.
The dates for the collection of the award letters are as follows: BBB 100 – 2500 from July 5 to 12; BBB 2501 to 5000 from July 13 to July 20; BBB 5001 to 7500 from July 21 to 27; and BBB 7501 to 9999 from July 28 to August 4.
Successful tenderers can collect their award letters or make payments at JPD’s Gadong headquarters or the department’s branch in Kuala Belait.
