Residents of Mukim Seria cast their votes for the new Penghulu at the Seria Branch of the Belait District Office yesterday.
The sole candidate, Mohammad Zainul Halif bin Talip, 43, is a resident of RPN Kampong Lorong Tiga Selatan Seria and is a graduate from Universiti Brunei Darussalam employed as an education officer at the Islamic Studies Department at the Ministry of Religious Affairs.
Mukim Seria includes Kampong Panaga, RPN Kampong Panaga, Kampong Lorong Tiga Selatan, RPN Kampong Lorong Tengah, Seria Town, Kampong Sungai Bera, and Anduki.
Residents can vote via ballots or online through the PMKK e-Voting application until today.
The votes will be counted today.
Voters are reminded to bring their identity card while uniformed personnel can produce their driver’s licence.
