The RPN Kampong Mentiri Zone II Village Consultative Council (MPK) organised a clean-up campaign yesterday.
The target was Simpang 41 in the village with the goal of cutting down branches that hinder motorists’ view, as a community project to promote the well-being of the village and ensure motorists’ safety.
The community project was led by Acting Village Head Haji Mohd Nizam bin Abdullah who expressed appreciation for the cooperation in jointly enhancing the villagers’ safety.
Haji Mohd Nizam said the cleaning activity will be extended to other areas with the hope that more villagers will participate in sprucing up the village.
Also participating were Acting Village Head of Zone I Haji Layar bin Raime and Zone I residents.
