Wild boars were confirmed to be the cause of the disturbed gravesites at the Terunjing Cemetery grounds, according to residents.
The incident was uncovered by a visitor at the Cemetery on Tuesday and Wednesday, whose video was made viral to alert family members of the deceased’s grave sites which had been affected.
They confirmed that a group of wild boars inhabiting in the nearby bushes had gone to the gravesites and dug it up, adding that this is not the first time it has happened.
Some of the residents had gathered outside the cemetery to hunt the wild boars responsible for the incident, and also set up traps.
