Eight students out of 847 participants for a photo diary contest have been selected to have their work sent to Japan for the regional level competition.
Five students from Seri Mulia Sarjana School, one from Seri Mulia Sarjana International School, Chung Hwa Middle School Bandar Seri Begawan and Kampong Menengah Tutong Primary School will have their work sent for the 15th Mitsubishi Asian Children’s Enikki Festa.
The competition is organised by the Mitsubishi Public Affairs Committee, the Asia Pacific Federation of United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) Clubs and Associations (AFUCA) and the Federation of National Associations of UNESCO Societies in Japan.
The contest, themed ‘Here is my life’, took place in 24 countries in the Asian region for students at the primary education level.
A prize presentation for contest winners was held yesterday. Acting Director of Co-Curriculum Education Julaihi bin Mohamad/Mohamat gave away prizes.
