    Repairs completed on pedestrian bridge

The Public Works Department yesterday announced that Jalan Utama Berakas re-opened yesterday at 4pm, following the completion of repair works on the pedestrian bridge.

Road users are advised to exercise caution, adhere to the speed limits, and follow road signage. The pedestrian bridge, located near the Institute of Brunei Technical Education (IBTE) School of Aviation, was temporarily closed in early August after structural damage was discovered.

The incident, which led to debris falling from the bridge, quickly gained attention on social media. – James Kon
