In efforts to improve delivery of services to the public, the Land Transport Department (JPD) informed the public, especially registered transportation companies in Brunei, on the latest updates of the application of permit renewal for commercial vehicles and public transport.
The department is implementing initiatives towards the digitalisation of services in line with its strategic plan which includes online application for permit renewal.
In preparation for digitalising online permit renewal, interim steps will be introduced from April 10 to facilitate and speed up the process.
Transportation companies wishing to renew commercial vehicle and public transport will be required to present the permit renewal application form and original certificate permit of commercial vehicles and public transport that have been issued previously.
The renewed permit will be ready on the same day.
