Datin Hajah Nahriah binti Haji Awang Asbi, spouse of the Minister of Religious Affairs, attended a religious theatrical drama as the guest of honour at Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Mosque on Saturday.
Organised by the Mosque Affairs Department through the Muslimah Affairs Division, in collaboration with the Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Mosque Takmir Committee, the event aimed to deliver dakwah in a creative, engaging, and impactful manner as part of the Israk Mikraj celebration.
The theatrical performance sought to present the story of Israk Mikraj in an accessible and engaging way, particularly for Muslim women. It also aimed to strengthen Islamic values, enhance understanding, and promote unity within the community ahead of the upcoming month of Ramadhan.
By revisiting the significant events of Israk Mikraj, the performance provided lessons on faith, piety, and personal development, encouraging attendees to reflect on their spiritual journey.
