Cleaner at a Kuala Belait religious school Marani binti Abdullah emerged as the grand prize winner in AIFA Sdn Bhd’s Hari Raya Lucky Draw, walking away with an 86-inch LG Smart TV after the final draw yesterday.
Meanwhile, Aznah Suhaimi took home the second place prize of an LG Side by Side fridge and the third prize of 85-inch AIFA Smart TV went to Masnah Ayub.
Fifty-year-old Marani said, “I was shocked. I didn’t expect to win a brand new TV. I was hoping to win a fridge because we bought a new 75-inch LG TV during Ramadhan. Now I have two big TVs, I don’t know where to keep this new one.”
She added, “I still want to keep the TV because its special. This is a once in a lifetime grand prize win.”
Some 39 customers selected from more than 50,000 entries took home BND30,000 worth of prizes.
AIFA Assistant Manager Lau Wee Ming said, “The reason behind the 39 winners is because AIFA is celebrating its 39th anniversary this year.
