    Religious scholarships for 10 students

    Ten students received scholarships under the Ministry of Religious Affairs (MoRA) in bachelor’s degree courses at several institutions abroad.

    Three students will study in Egypt, two in Ireland, three in Malaysia, one in Australia, and another in Jordan.

    The Islamic Studies Department through the Division of Human Resource Development and Scholarships held a briefing in this regard on Tuesday.

    Through the scholarships, recipients are able to study abroad at the bachelor’s degree level for the 2023/2024 academic session. 

    The event was held at Auditorium 1, Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Arabic School, Kampong Rimba.

    Department of Islamic Studies’ Assistant Director of Services and Corporate Haslinah Susanti binti Haji Mohd Hassan delivered the briefing.

    A similar briefing was also held on Monday for the MoRA scholarship award recipients to study domestically at the Special ‘A’ Level Scheme.

    Five students were offered scholarships to study at Year 12 and 13 at Jerudong International School for the 2023/2024 academic session which will begin on August 28. – Azlan Othman
