The Muslimah Affairs Division at the Mosque Affairs Department, in cooperation with members of the Suri Seri Begawan Raja Pengiran Anak Damit Mosque takmir committee in Kampong Manggis/Madang, held a religious programme for the guidance staff of the Women Guidance Class for Brunei-Muara and Tutong districts yesterday.
The programme aimed to increase knowledge and skills in delivering songs and the reading of Islamic poetry as well as instil a sense of love and camaraderie.
Spouse of the Minister of Religious Affairs Datin Hajah Nahriah binti Haji Awang Asbi was among those present.
The event also saw religious performances, such as the recitation of prayers, Dikir, Tausyeh, Nasyid and poetry by the mentors and women congregants. – Azlan Othman
