The Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) organised a Khatam Al-Quran event in conjunction with the RBAF’s 62nd anniversary celebration recently.
The religious event took place at RBAF suraus and Pulau Baru-Baru Mosque with the focal event at Surau Al-Barakah at Royal Brunei Air Force Base in Rimba.
The event began with the recitation of Sayyidul Istighfar and Surah Al-Fatihah led by Religious Officer from the RBAF Religious Directorate Captain Abdul Mu’iz Azizi bin Zulkifli followed by the recitation of Al-Quran by Khatam Al-Quran participants.
It continued with a Dikir Marhaban, a presentation of tokens of appreciation to participants and concluded with mass Asar prayer.
Commander of the RBAF Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Muhammad Haszaimi bin Bol Hassan was the guest of honour.
