The Ministry of Health (MoH) held a Sunnat Hajat prayer and Doa Kesyukuran ceremony at Surau Nuurul ‘Inayah of Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha (RIPAS) Hospital yesterday in conjunction with International Nursing and Midwifery Day.
Minister of Health Dato Seri Setia Dr Haji Mohd Isham bin Haji Jaafar was the guest of honour. Head Religious Teacher at the Religious Services Unit of RIPAS Hospital Ahmad Syuja’iee bin Begawan Mudim Haji Matassim led the ceremony with Sunnat Hajat prayer and the recitation of Tahlil, followed with Doa Kesyukuran and Doa Peliharakan Sultan dan Negara Brunei Darussalam.
The ceremony also saw the handover of donations to 13 intending haj pilgrims from the Nursing Services Department. Permanent Secretary at the MoH Haji Maswadi bin Haji Mohsin, Acting Deputy Permanent Secretary at the MoH (Professional) Dr Hajah Rafidah binti Haji Gharif and Acting Deputy Permanent Secretary (Policy and Management) at the MoH Dr Hajah Anie Haryani binti Haji Abdul Rahman were also present, along with department heads and officers from the MoH. – James Kon
