Brunei Shell Marketing Company Sdn Bhd (BSM) organised a prayer at Ash-Shaliheen Mosque to mark the company’s 65th anniversary yesterday.
Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office and Minister of Finance and Economy II Dato Seri Setia Dr Awang Haji Mohd Amin Liew bin Abdullah was guest of honour as member of BSM Board of Directors. BSM board of directors, management and staff, business partners as well as former BSM managing directors and staff were also present.
The ceremony began with an Asar prayer followed by the recitation of Tahlil and Doa Kesyukuran led by mosque affairs officer Haji Mohammad Izzat Izzuddin bin Begawan Pehin Khatib Dato Paduka Haji Emran.
The event also saw a handover of donations to 65 orphans registered under the Community Development Department as part of BSM’s social responsibility for Ramadhan. Guests also received Tahlil and Yaasiin books, Sajaddah and food packs for iftar.
The event was held to celebrate BSM’s 65 years of achievements and growth, while providing a platform to reflect on the significance of compassion, generosity and spirituality in both personal and professional endeavours. – James Kon
